| Aftercare |
Aftercare is offered to patients and family members for one year following the patients discharge date and is held every Saturday morning. Patients are assigned to an aftercare group when they are admitted and begin to participate in these meetings during treatment. These groups are coordinated by a counselor and led by trained alumni facilitators. The alumni must complete several requirements in order to become a facilitator. They must have completed one year of aftercare, have one or more years of sobriety, completed the 12 steps with a sponsor and completed three weeks of facilitator training. Professional counselor-led Continuing Care is offered on Tuesdays.
Family Aftercare is offered to interested adult family members for one year. Family facilitators meet similar requirements as Alumni facilitators. |
